Evening all,

Just a quick Hello to all my new found friends and geniuses !! I am brandy new - neophyte to woodworking. Just retired from Optics and looking to keep my hands busy and stay out of trouble! 😄
I’ll continue to read your posts to educate myself and most certainly be posting questions Looking to tap all this great brain power.

Hi Bill, welcome to the fun.

Since you're new to this stuff, here's a pdf of the 18 things that helped me get going with woodworking. Hopefully it will save you some mistakes I made, but also help you work out what gear you may want to get. It's long, but it has pictures to add clarity.

When I click the link "routers" I get sent to E-Bay?? is this correct?

Bill make sure you are logged in so those links like that don't show up. If you are logged in then you might need to scan for malware.
