A buddy was in the shop when I was working on all those old planes, he asked if I would restore these 2 clocks. No, I know nothing about clocks and told him so. This was mainly clean and put back together a box of pieces. I try to leave them as original as possible

Nice job. Glad those ticking clang things aren’t very common any more. My brother had a family heirloom and delighted in bing sure it was running when I was around. I hated that clock.

Clay, I use to make clocks similar to the one you have been working on. When I saw your post I couldn't wait to click on it. You did a nice job of cleaning this one up. I now have the urge to make another clock of some type. :smile:
It was a learning experience redoing these, I always get to reading about whatever I am working on. Always thinking on the guys that built the first ones.

Clay Nice job on the repair of this old clock. I love to see these restored instead of discarded.
