Here is an interesting video by Jay Bates. He builds a bench top router table for a DeWalt Trim Router.

Good info for people like me that work in a cramped space.

Not bad. I would have used glue blocks, and corner braces, but looks nice, and works for him. Somewhere I've seen old sewing tables used for tool holding - drop it down, just like the sewing machines were, fold the top over, and viola, a small table. I've got a sewing machine table in the attic - only problem, my hallway is line on one side with knock down, portable, book shelves, and they block the attic ladder. Time to toss some old magazines I guess. Hmm, just recalled, I've got an old Harley styled Cushman seat up there too, maybe a transmission. Definitely time to toss stuff.

Right now I have a bench vise mounted to the base of the drill press stand. I don't use the vise very often but it is ready to go at a moment's notice.

Yeah, he's REALLY short on space (see 2mins 35 secs in!) Nice idea though.

Interesting video. I really liked his finger joint jig.
