I am searching for a replacement base. I dropped my router and broke the base. I don't need a motor. Maybe similar models use the same base? Anyone have one?

sorry i checked mine and it is model no 7614 the brushes went bad but has a good base dont have baseplate though if this base might work let me know here

I have a 7612 that is complete (but needs a new armature) if that would help you out any.

I'm looking for a new baseplate for my 7614, and came across this older thread. According to my research, the following B&D routers all use the same baseplate: 7612, 7613, 7614, 7615, & TS600. If anyone has one of these with a baseplate in decent shape that they are willing to sell me, I'd be greatly appreciative.

Joe, since Black and Decker no longer carries replacement parts for these routers your best bet is to either buy an aftermarket replacement or build your own by following the step by step instructions under guide bushings and templates. The only difference is you will need to trace around your router and perhaps the hole pattern needed on tracing paper and transfer it to your material.
