Using my 1617 the other day, noticed that a part (nut) had come loose. Part # 29 in the diagram labeled as "Nut" was loose and sitting above the collet.

Tried to tighten it up but found there was very little room to get two wrenches in there. I'm guessing this should be more than "finger tight". Any suggestions?

Tightening loose nut

From your diagram, I have to think you are meant to use one wrench on the nut #29, and another wrench on the top nut #32. That's just a guess; but if you do not have any repair manual, it might be worth a try. Please let everyone know your end results. Best of luck to you.

Reg - access to the top nut would require removing the motor from the housing. Not prepared to do that - going to call Bosch CS - didn't get time to do that today.

Thanks for the suggestion.
