I am thinking of buying this router. (Please see the attachment to this message.) However, in one of the questions about this asked in (Amazon I think) the date of the question is November 2011 - 7 years ago.

This implies that the router is an old model and therefore not up to modern standards. Is that true?

it's listed as a current model...
it being a Bosch, it'd be a ''no worries'' purchase new..
N America has the 16 series...

Hi Steve and welcome. It's good to fill out your profile so we know a bit a bout you. In this case where you are is important as my search for that model took me to Axminster's. North American power systems are different than yours so models sold where you are will not work here. However, Bosch is a very reliable brand here or there.
