Hi,

I read a lot of interesting info on this forum. I was out of woodworking for some time. Its a hobby, but didn't have time for iz lately.
Recently bought Bosch GMF 1600CE. Im quite happy with it, its an upgrade from Makita RP0900.
Is it possible to set heigth when tablemounted in fixed base with a little key provided, WITHOUT releasing body clamp under table?
As i see it now, its not possible??? Little dissaponting

In the manual, there is not much about table mounting. That's why i thought maybe im doing someting wrong. Its a bit complicated to unlock the clamp every time i want to change the bit heigth. But looks like that is the way it is, unfortunately. Thanks guys

It almost happened. to me when i tried to change bit height while the clam wasn't released. Thats how i got to conclusion that it has to be unclamped.
