Finished the bread boards finally. Purple heart and white limba.

I added a backer board (1/4" Mahogany) to the small square board because I was fearful the end grain to end grain glue joint may fail at some future point. I'm not sure if that was the best choice now but too late now. They will be getting a two sided board for different occasions.

Tom, I never even thought of that. Great idea.

lol. The mahogany looks gorgeous too though. It has that lustrous sheen that shifts as you change the angle.

That's what started this. lol

I made the board below and my sister in law fell in love with the wood pattern.

I 3d modeled a custom design for the chess pieces and 3d printed them. They are 5-7 inches tall.
