Brushless, cordless power tools

Hi

May I ask for members opinion of the new order of brushless , cordless power tools.

I am particularly interested in table saws. A previous question to router forums, resulted in a suggestion of using the thicker saw blades in preference to the new thin kerf type. Would it be unwise to use a 2+mm blade on a brushless table or plunge saw? Are bruthless motors more reliable these days? How durable are they?

Thanking you in anticipation

i would also be aware of the size of the splitter, it may make no difference , but it may bind - i dnt have a table saw, but my Son-in-law does and he had a piece catch and get thrown out , and was using a different blade dont know the details - just something to also maybe be aware of
