Hello guy and gals I need to router a round over around a piece that is 1" tall by 7" long can some one offer me words of wisdom. Thanks Liberty1.

Think your way around the problem. Keep your fingers. This is one of my jigs for rounding over woodplane totes on the router. A length of studding hold the blank to the jig. I just flip it over to do the other side. The jig sees double action to hold the handles for further work after routing.

Can be done safely with a curtain fence.
The curtain (adjustable up & down) covers most of the cutter.
Moreover, the work can't slide into a cutter pocket that does not exist.

Easy one just stick it to a longer board,(14" or so) with tape or some pin nails do it in the KISS way..
