Think your way around the problem. Keep your fingers. This is one of my jigs for rounding over woodplane totes on the router. A length of studding hold the blank to the jig. I just flip it over to do the other side. The jig sees double action to hold the handles for further work after routing.

Easy one just stick it to a longer board,(14" or so) with tape or some pin nails :) do it in the KISS way..
