I have a Laguna IQ HHC CNC and i'm using VCarve Pro software. Most of my projects are longer than my table is wide causing me to design my projects to run in the x direction, but after the design is complete, I have to flip the design to run in the y direction. Is it possible to flip the actual x & Y table direction?

Maybe this? GCode Ripper It's from the F-Engrave guy.

At the risk of stating the obvious, do you not have the source of the gcode? Why not change the actual design?

Welcome to the forum! Add your first name to your signature line to clear the N/a in the side panel and so we'll know what to call you. Add your location, as well.

Our CNC is 2x4 (actual cutting capacity is 26" x 50") and I design everything in Fusion 360. For larger designs that make sense in my head to view them as left to right, like a sign or plaque, I draw them left to right in the X direction. But before I do the CAM step for toolpaths I rotate the drawing 90° to run in the Y direction. It takes all of about 3 seconds. I assume you can do this in the Vectric software.

Yes, in my Mach4, I have one profile saved with x as the long axis (my monitor is wider than tall) and another that has my gantry as the X-axis. Trivial to switch from one to the other. With the Laguna hand held controllers I would assume there is some sort of configuration file that contains the same info (which pins represent which axis, and number of steps/unit, etc. I believe the Laguna (and similar axiom units) are using a variation of the RichAuto controllers, you may be able to find how to alter or set up the configuration file. Make sure you back up your current configuration.
