Very nice scrollwolf. Be sure to add a crossmember underneath the seat so the chair can't rack to one side. Looking good!

Thanks Corey,
Actually, I am putting a drawer under the seat.

Oh that will be great and a nice idea Jack for additional strength and storage.

Nice chair... My FIL made a couple of chairs very similar to that and a matching table for our kids.

They lasted for years... but in the later years, the plywood legs got weaker on the bottom and in the middle vertically... May I suggest treating the ply to make it stronger like epoxy that would soak into the wood to really stiffen it...

I have had to repair them by cutting other slim pieces to replace missing sections of the ply... Good and strong now... Kids are grown & out... used by grandkids now. :) :)

That drawer idea sounds good!!
Great idea Joe. I never thought of that.
Thanks for the tip.

Very nice Scrollwolf, they turned out great!

Good job Jack, I'm certain the kids will get great use from these. Since you haven't done one for your niece yet you may want to slightly change the design for hers, perhaps a bit more feminine? Just to help generate some ideas take a look at the potty chair design I use. Minus the cutout for the bowl and tissue roll holder it becomes a time out chair, desk chair, etc. One guy bought a potty chair for his dogs to drink out of. I have had women use them for doll colections too. I look forward to seeing your finished princess chair.

Thanks Mike,
That is a good idea, I'll give it some thought and see what I can come up with.
