1st. you want to make sure it can take on a 1/2" bit, take off the collet nut off and look down inside the arbor, to see if ID hole is about 1/2" or to say 5/8" ,if it is go to the sears web site and plug in the model number of the router to see if they sale a 1/2" collet nut.
If you see one listed a trip to the service center is called for or order one on line.
