Collet size

Hi all, I have a bosch pof1300 ace..Will this take a 1/2 inch collet ?
I only have a 8mm in at moment and no others. Thanks

Welcome to the forum, @Steveb14 ,

According to an earlier manual in our library, this router only comes with 6mm, 8mm and 1/4" collets.

Hi Steve, Welcome. Routers are great tools, and it's the amazing variety of bits that make it so versatile. Here's a quick guide to various bits and the profiles then cut. I am a fan of Bill Hoyton's guides to using the router, which contains lots of detail and plans for different jigs that make the router even better. Amazon sells them.

Hello Steve, have a look in the british shop mtmc.co.uk. They sell "tons of spare parts" for Bosch. Just search for your router and see if it has that collet youre searching for. Its clear its not a part that comes bundled with it for sale. Personally I have the GOF1300 CE. I did managed to get 1/2" for it as there are some bits that does not come as 12mm. Maybe that collet fits in your router? Good luck!

pof1300 ace CANNOT have 1/2" collet
but
GOF1300CE can have a 1/2" collet.

They are different models.
