I've noticed it is extremely difficult to find a good quality used plunge router at a decent price. Most used routers I've seen are fixed base Craftsman.

You have to be really careful buying old Sears routers. Collets are a big issue with them and none are available so if you buy one one make sure it's cheap and make sure the collet holds the bit securely. Take a bit with you to try it in fact.

repair parts for them are another issue....
