dad's old tool

One of the tools that came down from Dad, I can remember watching him use it. He was a carpenter. Any guesses?

I've never used one but had the opportunity to watch the process. This guy stared by cutting all the teeth off the hand saw, cut in a new set and then proceeded to sharpen them. All in all about 4 hours work The finished saw cut beautifully.
