Damaged panel.

Hi, guys.

I have been working in a new angular cabinet but now, I wanted to make something different. Due to the material scarcity, and the high prices, I decided to make three panels by gluing several sections of wood, which I did satisfactorily.

The next step was to mill the wood to get three raised panels using my homemade milling machine. At the beginning I placed the first panel and checked the settings to get the desired profile, a simple one because this was my first time. After two passes the disaster appeared.

I managed to save the first panel but It took until the next week end to finish it. The story is in the pictures.

You figure things out very well,Alexis, and are very persistent fellow. Did the new metal gears solve the problem?
You are an inspiration to all of us in not giving in to difficult situations.
Hope your family and you are safe.

Yes, Herb.
In accordance to my friend, the biggest problem was to make the hexagonal core and, for me, the low price for three pieces.

Creativity at its best.
Man, that is a really good piece of machine detective work and an excellent solution.
