here is a picture here is a little problum when resawing it may be a dull blade? i guess is could just put on a new one i just wanted to put the question out and get idea's thanks del schisler
Del, the teeth look rounded in the photo. I am sure replaceing the blade will be a major improvement. Are you using Delta blades or have you tried other brands?
Del
I will 2nd that one, what have you been cuttting rocks ?
In your snapshot one of the tips is gone...
Plus for resawing you should set the machine up with a 1/2" (4 T) blade.
That is not necessarily a blade problem. It will happen with a sharp blade when resawing green lumber or lumber with a high moisture content. I must admit that I never considered it a problem...just an aggravation.
I am no expert, but I have had a similar problem with mu Delta Band Saw when I do not allow the saw to take the lead and cut at it's own rate of speed. Sometimefs I get "antsie" then push the work and the blade will (especually when it is 1/8") deflect and push into the back of the center.
