Check to see the availability of batteries as well as their price. Is this one of their universal batteries, or an old model, which will be very hard to find once discontinued. Lots of us have had to toss perfectly good tools because the batteries became scarce and expensive, or were outright discontinued. Some things cheap are not bargains.

 

Thats a universal Ryobi battery , also fits older models of some Ryobi gear specifically the drills. as they didnt change the shape .

 

the battery is not the issue.
I have a handful of the One Plus batteries that fit the blue Ryobi tools from new green tools I already own.
