Hi members. I am interested in buying a P.C. 4210 dovetail jig and would like to read some opinions on this jig and other makes in the same price range. Oldrusty

I, too, have the PC 4216 (4210 with the full set of templates). I find it does an excellent job for a fixed-spacing jig, and includes useful features that are absent on the other similar (essentially, copy-cat) jigs.

I prefer to keep the stock stable and tightly-clamped in the PC-style jig, as I feel that results in better accuracy, and better-fitting joinery. In other words, fewer chances for mis-alignments or other mishaps that will affect the joint. But, there are other folks who prefer to use table-oriented jigs. That's OK, since there's always more than one way to solve a problem.

Just one more that can be used on the router table or the table saw,it can do 1/8" wide and up to 13/16" wide slots that no other router jig can do, that's a real plus for the Woodhaven jig..
