Very nice indeed Mike but please explain to a simple elderly Aussie what the purpose of the two vertical pieces and the recessed section on the top are for.

 

Perfect for me to put docs that are in envelope that I need for the next morning so I do not forget them.

Thanks guys for the explanation. You yanks are very kind to drug crazed guys who break into your home at night and know exactly where to find the loot. Do you keep a small night light nearby to assist the miscreant?

 

We also keep a loaded gun next to the bed to use on those that take things that don't belong to them. The valet is just used to show off the bait.

 

Thats great Mike, but there is no compatment for a hand gun ?.

I have known a few folks that carried a change purse. A little squeeze pouch just small enough to keep in your pocket. I should start carrying one actually. Would be better than looking like a goob standing in front of a coke machine playing pocket pool.

Nice valet, by the way. I should build one. My wife doesn't like all the "stuff I need" piled up on the dresser. Month's receipts, nuts n bolts, small tools, etc.

 

Really nice job Mike. Would you like another brother-in-law? Namely me? Im adoptable!

I promise I wouldn't lay my .38 on it.
