@DRT,
I asked this on another thread, but nobody replied. Locally, we can get DMT and Ezelap diamond plates, at about the same price. Is there anything to choose between them?

I started with the DMT plates and haven't looked back. For personal use they should last a lifetime, or so I'm told. Mine show little to no sign of use and work great. Can't speak to any other types/brands.
