Hi I've just renewed the bearings on my Router and all went well getting the wires back into place was a bit of a job! Feeling pleased with myself I plugged it in and nothing !! Not so pleased now! short of hitting it with a hammer, I know all the spade terminals are in the right place as I took loads of pictures and checked all the usual suspects. Does anybody have any sensible suggestions please.
Not wanting to reinvent the wheel I would suggest that you go to Youtube and watch a few videos on trouble shooting a power tool. Since it was working before you opened it up you may have a broken wire either inside the insulation or at the spade terminal. It should be easy to find with a meter.
