I inherited a 3.5 HP Craftsman Model 315.28650 / 1/2"Plunge router from my cousin and need everything else. A router plate and 1/2" router bits. I plan to build a router table on my Old Delta 10" table saw. What Aluminum plate shall I buy? Which 1/2" bits should I buyfor home use? View attachment 396503
Welcome Ed, I like your shop. Here is the link to the manual of the router manual it doesn't give the info you are looking for but there are some parts when needed still available. You may have to buy a blank router plate and drill your own holes to attach it to the base of the router. It looks like you have a drill press so it shouldn't be a problem. Here is a link to one of many available undrilled Router plate inserts Rockler's Version check around for price and reviews. As for bits by a good one (Freud, Whiteside, etc) as you need it. Why buy a set if you aren't going to use half of them... don't ask me how I know :(
