I recently had a need for some engineering properties of wood. The US Forrest Products Lab (FPL) in Madison, WI has a reference report entitled "Wood handbook: wood as an engineering material". It is a free download (15 MB) at
https://www.fs.usda.gov/treesearch/pubs/37440
A lot of woodworkers prefer Baltic Birch over US manufactured plywood. Of course the FPL does not characterize non-US manufactured products. I found the attached Baltic Birch plywood reference from the Finnish Forest Industries Federation. Now I know why the 18mm thickness is likely to be more like 17.6mm.
