A newbie, who would like to buy a machine for the production of SS304 Anti-theft Nuts or Break Nuts.

The Raw material used will be SS Hex Bars 19 mm.

what type of CNC machine will be suitable for the production of the same.
CNC LATHE, 3 Axis or 4 Axis.
Rectangle Font Slope Parallel Pattern

My first time about machines, please ignore my noobness.

Thanks all in advance.

welcome to the forum.
I don't have any info on CNC machines. . . . but, I'm wondering why you want to buy such a big and expensive machine to make a product that is already on the market ?? When I had my sign business here in the USA, I used many stainless "anti-theft" fasteners that were readily available at a decent cost. From my very novice point of view, I don't see this as a profitable decision.
Have you researched this market at all ?

speaking generally, most users of this forum work in wood with their cnc machines. although there may be some crossover information between wood cnc's and metal cnc's, i believe that you will receive better responses if you post your interest in a metal working forum. there may be some folks here who work in both, and hopefully will speak up for you!

i am sure that we would love to have you back if you ever venture into the wood medium! good luck!

Welcome to the forum, @roopeshvakharia .

Are you thinking of setting up a business to make these nuts?

That would be a large investment.

YES, have done some research. will be able to recover machine costs in 2 years of time with the continuous business. This is not a ready product. It is a special item

TY for the support, will check other forums. :)
Where are you located? Possible there is no availability of those fasteners where you are at so it might be worth looking into but I would do a lot more research to see if they are available to make sure it is actually worth pursuing.

If it is worth doing then you would want a CNC metalworking milling machine for what you want to make.

Yes, I want to start manufacturing these nuts.

i think the machine would cost 25000 USD. if I make a 1000 USD a month I would be able to recover the cost in 24 months.

I am from India, the fastener is available. But very limited manufacturers.
I have regular orders for the same, and so was interested in manufacturing.
thought of buying a lathe/Traub to make it and expand into other special parts.
Something from the attached.

You guys have been extremely helpfull. Thank you all. :)
Welcome to the forum @roopeshvakharia
Looking at your product you would need either a 5 axis mill for metal, or a metal cutting lathe and a 3 axis mill.
