This is the other side.
Just to make a change i made the laminations at 45 degrees.
Starting from the middle is walnut, birch ply, cherry, more ply and bubinga.
Front and back is a layer of walnut, and then the drawer fronts are bubinga and beech.
Thanks all. This one has caused a stir among my family as both my wife and my sister are mildly OCD, and cannot abide things out of square or not symetrical.
They keep trying to turn the box so that the layers are horizontal, rather than at 45 degrees.
Cant be done as unlike the last couple of boxes, it isnt on a cradle, the feet are part of the box.
I told them my new catchphrase
