Gadgets and commonly used files

Hi guys,
I'm doing a lot of reading and soon I'm going to give my new to me cnc router it's first run.

I thought I seen in vcarve pro
Or Mach3
A tab that showed commonly used files , like
Cut a slot, cut a pocket ,surface stock etc.
Could someone point me to that tab please.
I just want to run a very simple file to carve for my first time
