Harbor Freight has a Momentary Power Foot Switch for $13.99. I've used one for years, plug it in, plug you machine in it, step on the switch and power to the machine, step off the switch, and power off. I'd post the URL but for some reason HF won't allow it. I really like it. If something goes wrong, your first instinct is to move back. And that means your foot comes off the switch, and power is off, no looking for a switch to push or whatever.
They have another model for the same price. On that on step on it to turn power on, and step on it again to turn power off. Not at all appealing to me, much prefer the other model.
