It's OK. Dumped mine long ago and went for the ever reliable, easily (if rarely) serviced, parts available, Bosch 1617 or the POF model with the switch on the handle. The thing about routers is that you're going to be using them for 20 or more years, so parts like brushes and collets, soft start and speed control electronics being available is important in the long run.
Skill was recently acquired by Chervon, which owns a number of small brands of power tools. Note it is not Chevron, the oil company. Orphan tools, many with once admired reputations, often wind up with low parts availability and mediocre service arrangements. Having watched a huge number of posts seeking hard to find parts, I stick with the big names with current good reputations and excellent products.
