Hello my name is Nick and I'm from Kenosha WI, just joined, just started my exploration into routing, was a rough carpenter most of my life, now that I'm retired I figured it was time to take it out of the box and begin a whole new phase of creativity...thanks for all your soon to be support

Hi nick, nice to have you aboard. A lot of guys here did carpentry, then retired and took up woodworking. You definitely want to make a router table for yourself. Pretty easy to make, and really expands the usefulness of a router. Safer too.

Hi again Nick, Just thinking you might really enjoy a book on routing called "Woodworking With The Router," by Bill Hylton. Very useful with lots of methods, tips and jigs that will make your router sing. I think the soft cover version is about $25 at Amazon,
