Hello! I’m Jake and I stumbled on this forum looking for some advice on CNC routing. I am a retired Paramedic who built a new woodworking shop during the early stages of the pandemic. Glad I did, surely could not have afforded to build with the high price of materials and the shortage of people to do the work. I paid for foundation, flatwork and the building shell. Since then, I completed the shop. It is well insulated, heated and cooled, lots of natural light, tons of outlets and filled with most tools to build cabinets and some furniture. Recently completed my first bank of cabinets. The lower corner cabinet is a pull out that I made to house sanders and sanding supplies. I just mounted my TV on the wall today, above my audio cabinet wasn’t the right place for it.

I am looking forward to making new friends here. I am excited to learn from those folks willing to share their knowledge and experience. Wood Wood stain Hardwood Flooring Rectangle

Howdy! i am in Mahaska County, or 60 miles SE of Des Moines. I was born and raised in MN. I have been gone from there for a really long time now and Iowa is home. Went to your website, you live in a beautiful part of the State. Very nice work too!

I bet you make very nice projects with what you have. I am very thankful just how blessed I am to have a dedicated woodworking shop. Thank you for sharing and thanks for the welcome!! Australia is on my bucket list to visit someday. My father was there during WW2 and said it was beautiful and it's people were very nice. I would like to see for myself.
