I just wanted to interduce myself to you all. As long as I can remember I was always making ,cutting and banging wood to some degree. I remember some of my first projects were built out of the wood used in peach crates. When I was maybe 5 or 6 yrs old.Wow! the good old days.Over the last 30 years I have built many projects including grandfather clocks, decks, dessers and other items mostly out of cherry. Now in my middle 50's I have been slowly building tools up and improving my woodworking skills to enjoy for years to come. Any routing over those years I limped by with a 30 yr old Craftsman router doing it the old school way. I just bought a new Triton 3 1/4 router and a outstanding Sommerfeld router table. I can't wait until snow starts flying here in SW Minnesota so it allows me more time to get in the shop. Thanks again for you all for your input to this forum. Robert"Bob" Benstead

Hello Bob! Welcome to the forums! If You like wood, and tools, You are in the right place. I noticed the name, in Your post, If You could add Your firstname to the profile page, It is easier to find Your post, and get talk, and help You a bit better. May be just the way this Old guy does things, but I hope You find as much help as I have gotten from it! :)
