Hello everyone I'm new to woodworking in general. I have been doing the odd project with Wood construction, but not really wood working. Hopefully I will learn more.

You came to the right place. Welcome.

I've attached a pdf of the 18 plus things that accelerated my learning curve. It covers about 15 years of trial and error and help from other folks here. I have a lot of tools because I bought them during my peak earning years, but you can do a lot with just a few key tools, the Table Saw being number one. But all that's in the pdf. It's long but has pictures. Hopefully it will help you avoid some of the costly mistakes I made as I started up. Like you, I've done carpentry projects since I was about 12. This is a really great hobby.

Furniture can be challenging. Good idea to start with cabinets. Doors can get tricky, depending on their design. Have fun learning.
