New to the forums.I have read a few of the threads and I am impressed. I use a lot of hand tools for hobby work but also have power tools, but love the traditional ways.

Welcome!

What are we talking about when we say "traditional ways" if you don't mind me asking. I'm seeing the Woodwright's Shop in my mind......

Welcome Neanderthal, you will find a great group of people here. Some are experienced, some are wise, and some are like Ed. :D He actually pre-dates the stone age. He was a teacher of wall painting back then. :D All of us will help when we can or at least give you our opinion, and it can be fun too.

Reible As i started making sawdust befoer power tools were common as dirt I use mostly hand tools for most things. I do use power when I have deadline, hand tools need thought and technique. Sometimes the Woodwright's Shop is my idea of relaxation(not realy) How I work is governd by the project and time allowed. aAs for age I need a fire permit for a birthday cake
