I've recently been given a Freud FT3000 router. I am a complete novice and struggled to put the whole thing together - very poor instructions. It has a combined 1/2 inch and 1/4inch collet, Can somebody point me to some instructions on how to fit this. Thanks.

Depending on what shank size bits you use,you will either use a 1/2 " or 1/4" collet ...all you do is either screw on one or the other....they come out just by unscrewing it all the way.
