I am a novice woodworker. I have a two questions. Is it a good idea to remove the springs from a plunge router before installing it on a router table? If so how do you do it (I have a freud E-2000)- G H Steel

"remove the springs" Yes and No ,if you are going to use it just for the router table Yes, if you want to use it for a plunge router and the table NO.
