I found out that my friend is a very skilled man with mechanics and with electric tools etc. He has promissed to do a syclon to me. Now the question. What parametres must I consider when making plans to a C when inlets and outlets are 100mm?

That is a VERY large and complicated question. Here is a website that will keep you busy for hours. Dust Collection Research - Home
Thanks D. Hody! So I remember that its a complicated task. Thanks for the link!
This may help too Esko: J. Phil Thien's Cyclone Separator Lid w/ the Thien Cyclone Separator Baffle

The spelling we use is "cyclone". If you want to search the web here for more possible information that spelling may bring up more. You want your cyclone to create a vortex so that heavier particles drop out of the air flow.

Thanks Charley. Ill keep it in my mind
You should be thanking Cherryville Chuck, - He's also a Charlie, but I spell my name different (like you posted)

I'll suggest another way to go - "Oneida Super Dust Deputy". It may cost a little more with shipping and all, but it will do a much better job of filtering the sawdust out of the air than a Thein or fabric Filter of any kind. Just compare costs before you have anyone try to make a dust separator. The dimensions in the design are critical and a unit built with the wrong proportions will be very inefficient.

I have a Dust Deputy and almost nothing except a trace of micro fine dust gets past it. After removing a barrel full of sawdust from the air I can only see that there is dust in the vacuum if I rub my finger along the inside of the vacuum. I vent my vacuum to the outdoors, so even this dust never gets the chance to get into my lungs. Oneida sells their products in Canada, so it may be cheaper to get one through there or if Amazon sells in Finland, maybe through them.
