Welcome to the forum! Add your first name to your profile to clear the N/a in the side panel and so we'll know what to call you. Add your location to your profile, as well.

We do like photos so show us your shop, tools, projects, etc. whenever you're ready. What sort of woodworking are you planning or doing?

Hey, 'onaping'; welcome! In lieu of a first name can we call you 'Nappy'? ;)
Please fill out something about yourself in your Bio...left click on your screen name and a menu will open up for you.

Edit; Damn, you beat me to it, David! :)

Hello, welcome to the forums N/A...
We're happy you found us...

Here is some recommended ''light reading'' of pertinent/relative information on routering that we've put together at this here link for ya...
You should find most everything there (at least most of it) quite useful and a lot of help to get you up and running in the world of routers...
Enjoy...
Do take some time to read the safety PDF's... PLEASE!!!
Blood and trips to the ER, we find, are very annoying... Not to mention – expensive...

You have question about something??? Anything???
We welcome all questions here on just about any subject you can come up w/....
Not only that, we love and excel at spending money... Lots and lots of money... Especially when it's yours....
Be sure to go through Stick's batch of pdfs. It's better than most textbooks on using a router.

Welcome to the forum.
Welcome to the forum. Don’t be shy , tell us a little about yourself :)
Hi again. I learned a lot about routing and routers, especially table mounted, by watching Marc Sommerfeld videos, which you can find on YouTube. He has a channel there. He sells router stuff, but was a cabinet maker before that, so his methods are really simple and direct, and he does some mighty fancy stuff. Note that he has removed a safety device covering the bit so you can see better.
G'day from Oz. Welcome to the forum
I am a newbie too and you will find that this forum is filled with friendly folks who are more than willing to share information and suggestions plus are willing to answer questions, no matter how simple or complex. You cannot find a better group of people.

Welcome!
