Welcome to the forum. Lots of great folks and tons of information. Ask questions- that's how we learn. I retired in September, 2009. Took me two days to adjust- Saturday and Sunday. You will find yourself busier than when you were working.
Glad you decided to join the fun. LOTS of expertise around here for questions. Attached is a pdf of the 17 Plus things that helped me get up to speed. It includes pictures. Hopefully it will help you the same way, and maybe save a few bucks over the long haul. The article covers about a decade of getting my shop together, you don't have to do this all at once. And Stick will likely be along shortly with a LOT of information on routing and safety.
