Welcome to the forums Kennymi. I would take one of your screws to a local hardware store and get longer bolts of that size. Or even better idea I would cut a hole through the bench and set a base plate in for better truer base for your router. I think www.oak-park has a router table plan that you can get at least the part of the plan for cutting a base hole in your top. They also sell base plates for your router there then you won't have to get new bolts you can use you existing hardware from your router itself.
