Hello All,
I am here trying to make some use of a lot of heart pine I received from our office renovation. I have planed some down and decided it will make beautiful flooring. So amongst the challenges of my small home shop I am attempting to cut the tongue and groove into the flooring myself. I have inherited a router table and several routers, but one quite decent duty enough for the task...So I am shopping for a router fairly strictly for the anticipation of the task of cutting my flooring....which led me to this site. Any suggestions of where to start...economy is great, but not wearing myself, the router or my bits out is of equal importance. I have already made a purchase of a Fruede tongue and groove bit and now need the machine to handle it.
I have noticed a Dewalt 3hp 625 on sale at amazon for $250...but it gets bad table reviews. Any opinions here?
Thanks!
Todd

Hi Todd - welcome to the forum:)
If your lucky, Woodcraft was running a sale on the Freud 3000, 3~1/4 HP with good table features for $200. Black Friday special while supplies last. Was still going last time I checked.

Hello Todd and welcome. Woodcraft does still have the router on sale. Unfortunately for me, my local store did not have any in stock.

I'm sure others will chime in with some different recommendations.
