I dont have the Incra Lift but really like Incra Products. Why dont you email support at Incra and ask them about the problem. They have always been very helpful when I contacted them in the past. The Incra staff is small and know their products.

My suggestion as well. In fact you can call and speak to Mark at 1.888.804.6272.

That said while I don't have the Incra lift I do as Herb and have DC at both the fence and lift areas that do an outstanding job. That said I should mention that I have a CV1800 6" DC system and the 6" port feeds a single inlet with 2 - 4" blast gates, one for the fence and the other for the lift compartment. DC makes all the difference.
