Increase Capacity on Bosch RA 1181

I'm looking for a way to increase the capacity on my table. The stock fence only adjusts out to 3.75 inches. I was wondering if its possible to build a vertical fence that either clamps to the sides of the table or uses the miter slot. I've not used the router much and operating safely is top priority. My initial goal is to route dovetail slots as needed to use the Microjig products for jigs. I was thinking that perhaps someone on here with the same table has solved this. I did search but didn't find anything. Thanks in advance for any ideas.
