Hi, I live in Christchurch New Zealand. I've done woodwork for many years.
As I'm just semi-retired, I hope to spend a lot more time in the shed!

Currently I'm setting up my router table and new Triton router. I chose it as it is easy to change the bit above the table with the router still mounted. In addition I have a Makita router which I've had for years. More recently I bought a Hitachi router.

I do cabinet work and wood turning. I use the Makita and Hitachi for freehand work. I've had good success with CMT bits.

I hope to learn a lot from the experienced members on this site.
Cheers

Andy

G'Day Andy and welcome to the RouterForums. I was going to ask if you know NZGeordie, but I find he lives on the North Island in Wellington and you live on the South Island. For those that don't speak down under, [shed = shop]. Like Mike says, please post some pictures of your work. You do have some beautiful wood down there, with very interesting names.
