Hi All
As a fellow woodaholic I am both grateful and amazed at the response which i have had from my first posting. Many thanks to all the contributors. Historically I have been a hurler on the ditch as we say in Ireland (an expert on all aspects of the national game of hurling while standing on the side line watching the game). As an engineer of the electrical variety i hope I can contribute going forward.
Thanks for the Welcome

Welcome Irish.

Being of Irish descent myself (some coming from Dublin, but many generations removed) I thought I was somewhat knowledgeable about Irish Culture. Hurling was something I missed completely. I am now certain its meaning in Ireland predates our North American meaning.
