Anyone else here bought an MLCS router speed control and have it not work on the speed side?

Also what is up with no mounting brackets. A belt buckle mount is NOT a good idea for mounting an electrical switch!!!!!

Anyone have plans for a speed control, so I could mount it behind a wall and put the controls in a conventional electrical box so they could be mounted into a wall? Or a source for something like that?

Well NOW I have read that some router speed controls will not work with routers that have soft start and or speed controls on the router itself. Our Bosch 1617 routers have both soft start and built in speed controls!!! All fine and good IF you are using the router when it is not mounted in a table with a dust control box but not worth a flip if you have to reach up under the table and find the speed control knob!!!!

So anyone else have this issue and did you find a work around?? I would REALLY like to have the speed control up where it is easy to reach!!!

Maybe an Adrino controller??? Like for a CNC??

My partner has the exact same router and a different speed control. His works fine. I tried his speed control on my router and it works fine. So I have one on order. Not sure what is up with the MLCS 20amp version.

Thanks for the link. I am going to look into that further. The Shark is a really cool system and I would like to match it with an equally cool speed control.....

I just made 8 corners of a box joint build in about 10 minutes with the system!!! Fit was machine perfect and i am still learning!!
