Dragon 575x375x50mm slab of Box Elder. The depth of cut on this in 45mm. The deeper the Z cut really brings out the 3rd dimension. I can recommend Box Elder wood for CNC relief cutting. It's not as hard as say cherry or walnut. Quiet cutting, great finish and almost no fuzz to clean up.

Hmmm....6mm rough cut pass was 7 hours. 0.5mm finish pass was 8 hours.
