I am working with Mesquite wood and have an allergy to the sawdust. I want to make my own downdraft table, I am very poor, and need direction. I do not have a workshop yet. I have looked on the web and Rockler has a kit but it is backordered until May.
I use a respirator and a face mask but that is to no avail.
Could someone give me advice on finding a good vacuum source besides the normal systems.

Thank you for your quick response. I hope to breath a little easier now. I am looking to build one and that will give me an idea of the design.
